We hope you are all staying cosy and well out there. Have you noticed the days getting longer? Sunset is that little bit later every day. And, as Jack Frost’s ice begins to melt, signs of the Green Man are emerging. Have you spotted any daffodil shoots, or soft young buds on the trees?
As you will probably be aware, we are unable to run our planned courses and programmes throughout January in line with government Covid guidance. If you have booked onto something, you will hear from the programme leader with your options in terms of refunding or rescheduling.
However, we are still offering new episodes of Leona’s wonderful Connection Matters Podcast, and will keep in touch via our newsletter and website over the coming weeks with nature-connection ideas and other offerings.
We will also be keeping a close eye on any guidance changes into February and beyond, and will let you know when we are able to run again. Our course leaders have so many exciting plans for this year and we are looking forward to the time when we are able to see you in the woods again!
And lastly, here’s a picture of some of the beautiful birds at Callis Community Gardens, one of our course venues, enjoying the winter food laid out for them. This is a great time of year for bird watching as the branches are bare. We’d love to see any photos of birds you have spotted – post them in our Live Wild Community facebook group
With blessings and gratitude,
the Live Wild team- Leona, Leonie, Viv and Sophie
